Event/Experience Ticket Purchase

Terms & Conditions

  1. The following terms and conditions apply to all ticket sales through the International Rugby Club Inc. (“IRC”) website/app ("Site"). You agree that by purchasing tickets through the Site, you are bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. IRC sells tickets on behalf of the person or entity putting on the event (the "Host"). IRC is not responsible for any representations made by the Host. Any claims or complaints associated with an event must be made to the Host.

  3. All tickets purchased from the Site are subject to the relevant Host’s terms and conditions.

  4. Persons under the age of 18 may not purchase any product or service from this Site and must obtain the permission and assistance of their parent or guardian to do this.

  5. Tickets will be supplied to you as an e-ticket, which will be emailed to your designated email address in a printable PDF format. Look after your ticket(s) as you would cash. It must be presented in order to gain admittance to the event. Each ticket is unique and can be redeemed only once. Multiple copies of this ticket will not allow multiple entries. In the event that multiple copies of tickets are presented at the event, the IRC and the Host may refuse entry to all ticket holders presenting copied tickets.

  6. All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of GST. Credit card payments are made through a secure, SSL-certified gateway and the IRC accepts Visa and MasterCard only. The IRC’s Ticketing Partner “Rankers” will appear on cardholder statements for any transactions through this Site.

  7. The price of the ticket on the Site covers the stipulated items. Any food, beverage or other activities purchased at the event is set by the Host. Where a ticket price includes an annual IRC Membership, the attendee agrees to the IRC Membership terms and conditions found here: http://therugbyclub.co.nz/membership. The attendee will be sent a redeemable IRC Membership voucher within 2 weeks of the ticket being purchased.

  8. Entry to the event is subject to the IRC, Hosts and venues terms and conditions and discretion. Whilst at the event, should any attendee behaviour be deemed to be inappropriate including but not limited to drunken, disorderly, abusive, illegal, inappropriate or dangerous, then the IRC, Host and venue are within their rights to remove you from the event premises with no refund.

  9. IRC is not liable for any terms and conditions and/or acts or omissions of the Host or venue, including but not limited to, age restrictions, sold out events, the content or quality of the event, security requirements, seating, venue changes, speakers, performers, or the starting time of the event.

  10. All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. Whilst every effort will be made to run all advertised events, IRC reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event unviable. If the IRC cancels an event, attendees will be offered a refund of the ticket price excluding a 20% admin/booking fee. The IRC annual membership fee is nonrefundable if an event/experience is cancelled or postponed.

  11. IRC and Host is not liable to you if it is unable to perform its obligations due to a force majeure event. A force majeure event includes circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of IRC, including but not limited to earthquake, epidemic, fire, flood, riot, terrorism, war, industrial disputes or any act of god.

  12. IRC and Host reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute event/experience details, Legends, formats or performers without notice.

  13. You will not provide IRC any information that is incorrect, or give rise to criminal or civil liability. IRC is not liable for any incorrect information you provide to IRC and you agree to indemnify IRC from any loss, liability, claim, or demand that IRC suffers as a result of this incorrect information.

  14. IRC will use information provided by you to complete your purchase of the ticket (and IRC annual membership if applicable). IRC may also use that information for verification purposes for the prevention of fraud, or for the purposes of marketing future events and/or ticketing information. If you opt in to receiving information from the Host about their future events, IRC may disclose your email address to the Host. Otherwise, IRC will not disclose information provided by you except as necessary for the purchase of the ticket or as required by law.

  15. IRC will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of information you provide to IRC and the Ticketing Partner Rankers.

  16. If, due to a clerical or system error, you have purchased tickets for less than the price set and advertised, you agree to pay the balance when demanded or the ticket may be cancelled.

  17. You agree not to re-sell or attempt to re-sell a ticket purchased through IRC at a higher price without the prior written consent of IRC. IRC reserves the right to cancel without refund any ticket where this obligation is breached.

  18. To the fullest extent permitted by law, IRC is not liable to you or anyone else for any loss, injury, or damage (including under contract, tort, statute or otherwise, whether they be direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential) in relation to the event or your use of the site, your use of or the inability to use the tickets, the cancellation or postponement of the event, or for any other reason whatsoever.
